Returns
We understand that sometimes a product may not be quite what you expected. We offer a straightforward returns policy to make the process as easy as possible.
ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and returned within 30 days of receipt. It must also be in the original packaging, with all tags and labels intact as we cannot process a voluntary return without this. Please make sure to provide the proof of purchase when returning an item.
OUR RETURN PROCESS
- Please feel free to reach out to us at hi@anxiouspreoccupied.com through e-mail or via our contact page to initiate the return process. To help us process your request as quickly as possible, please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Once we've reviewed your return request, we'll provide you with the appropriate return instructions.
- Carefully pack the item using the original packaging to ensure it won't be damaged during shipping.
- For damaged or faulty good, we will gladly provide a return label for returns where possible.
If you choose to arrange your return using your own preferred courier service, we cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise during transit, including delays, customs charges, lost parcels, or parcels returned by customs, as these are outside our control. We strongly recommend using a tracked service and keeping your tracking number until your return has been received and processed.
For international returns arranged by the customer, parcels must be sent on a Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) basis. Any customs duties, VAT, taxes, handling fees, or other import charges are the responsibility of the customer and should be paid before dispatch. Returns sent on a Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) basis may be refused or returned by customs.
If you're unsure how to complete the customs declaration, we recommend checking with your chosen courier before sending your return to help avoid delays or unexpected charges.
REFUNDS
In the event that you have any concerns with the order once received, please let us know and we are here to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. We will certainly assist you with any necessary refunds or exchanges.
After we receive your item, our team will inspect it and process your refund if the item meets the return eligibility criteria.
We cannot process a refund/replacement if the item is further damaged due to improper packaging.
Please note: All bags except clutch bags must be returned in a box.
- Handbags: If the original box is no longer available, please use a suitable replacement box to avoid further damage.
- Clutch Bags: These are originally packed in pouches. If the original pouch is unavailable, please return them using a parcel pouch with extra cushioning.
We will notify you of the status of your refund via email.
Who pays for return shipping?
For non-faulty items, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
How long does a refund take?
Once your return has been received and approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method.
Refunds are typically processed within 5 - 10 working days of the return being received and approved. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund in your account.
What items cannot be returned?
Items must be unused, in original condition and returned with tags and packaging intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
What if my item is faulty or incorrect?
Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and images of the issue so we can review and resolve this for you.
EXCHANGES
If you would like to exchange an item, please follow the return process above and let us know which item you would like instead. Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item to ensure it was not further damaged before we send the replacement. If the new item costs more, the difference in price will need to be paid for. We will make sure the process goes as smoothly as possible!
